Although the new 2008 Chevrolet Equinox is a smaller SUV with an overall length of 187.3 inches, it sports passenger and cargo capacity that rivals some of the larger sport utes. The new five-passenger sport-utility vehicle, is a well proportioned, stylish truck that fits in well with the idea of a smaller SUV. With a fold down front passenger seat and a split-folding rear seta, the Equinox allows for extra long cargo storage completely within the vehicle. Another feature that adds to the versatility of the new 2008 Chevrolet Equinox is its height-adjusting cargo shelf that can be used as a temporary desk or a luggage privacy screen. 3400 V-6 engine with 185 hp @ 5200 rpm and 210 lb.-ft. of torque @ 3800 rpm.
